Mountain bike tours in morocco

Morocco is an ideal country for mountain bike tours. In the summer the Atlas Mountains are beautiful, but they are jagged and tough to ride. Because of its relatively mild climate the Atlantic coast region can be used for cycling almost year around. In winter the south of Morocco is more suitable than the north. Spring and autumn are the optimum holiday seasons for mountain bike tours. Our tours lead us on narrow roads and paths, by deep valleys and by wide riverbeds in the midst of fascinating landscapes.

We offer a wide selection of mountain bike tours ranging from easy to tough grades. The paths in the mountains exist primarily of loam and grit. Hence, these tours are medium to tough whilst our tours through the valleys are rather easy. All of our tours travel to remote, off the beaten track areas, and to traditional Berber villages where we enjoy the unequalled hospitality of the Berbers whose life has changed little over hundreds of years.
Our mountain bike programs can be combined arbitrarily with other tours and can be adapted to your needs. Please contact us for detailed program descriptions and prices.

MTB-Tours in the Anti Atlas

The Dades Valley is like a Wild-West land suspended in another age, with snow on one side and semi-desert on the other. The Dades River flows through the valley like a magic elixir, lacing a miraculous trail of wheat, fruit, almond, walnut and silver birch trees set against a backdrop of extraordinary and spectacular rocky land formations. To protect themselves from invaders, the Berbers erected literally hundreds of Kasbahs. A winding tarmac road passes directly through this forest of ochre fortresses and is called the “road of 1,000 Kasbahs”. At El Kelaa des M'Gouna, there are hedges of wild roses which are used to produce rosewater at the local distillery.

MTB-Tours in the High Atlas

The High Atlas is the biggest mountain range in North Africa. High peaks force the clouds to give high quantities of rainfall; therefore the High Atlas has many fertile valleys surrounded by rivers and waterfalls. The rivers that flow down the southeast side of the High Atlas support long, narrow, and lush river valleys that resemble linear oases.
